A little about my journey

I was born in la belle province, Quebec, in Canada, where I spent my childhood immersed in French culture. As a girl, my favorite pastime was drawing pictures with charcoal and pastels. In the first year of my marriage, my husband gave me a priceless gift: brushes, primary oil colors, and canvasses. I began experimenting with painting and made it my passion.

When I first started out, my work was greatly influenced by the Great Masters, and I became particularly interested in realistic portraits where the play of light was developed to perfection. Over the last 39 years, I have explored new techniques and moved towards more modern impressionist brush strokes and compositions. My favorite impressionist portraitist is the Italian artist Daeni Pino. While my preferred subjects are portraits and people scenes, contemporary pieces are also part of my repertoire.

My paintings can be seen and have been purchased by people all over the world: India, England, the US (New York, California, Florida, Massachusetts, Chicago, Iowa), and Canada (Quebec, Ontario). I reside in Montreal and winter in Singer Island, Florida, with my husband.
